“Chill, Don’t Kill.” is a mostly billboard-based campaign in Memphis, Tennessee (where I grew up) to try to reduce murders in the city. Sadly, Memphis has a fairly high murder rate, mostly due to pervasive socioeconomic factors. This video is of the seldom-shown TV commercial associated with the same campaign. The campaign is fascinating to me for whatever reason. I hope it has done some good. This is my transcript of the commercial.
