This was a great read.  And the website has some extra interviews too (Dan Clowes!). It’s full of little gems like Robert Smigel saying, “It’s a lot more difficult to be a rebel in a sweater.” Hurry up and read it fellow comedy nerds, so we can talk about it. paulscheer: Might I Recommend…”And Here’s The Kicker” by Mike Sachs First of all, let me say that I am in no way connected with this book but if you are interested in comedy or if you are a comedy writer you should definitely pick this book up. Sachs does an amazing job of getting incredibly in depth and candid interviews with some of the best comedy writers around. Not only did it give me a new found respect for some people (i.e. Dick Cavett) but some of the candid stories blew my mind. Enjoy.
