This is my Uncle Simon. He passed away last year and had, with out a doubt, the biggest influence on me. He wrote some really cool scripts for Hanna-Barberra. Of course, H-B frequently revised his drafts or watered them down until they became the garbage you might remember seeing on TV or can still sometimes catch on Cartoon Network. Luckily, I was able to read his original drafts, and they were awesome! My favorite was called:
Cavewarrior Chronicles: Praise for SAN-tah
The story took place 10000 years BC. A small clan of cavemen are forced to partake in a season of praise for their warlord SAN-tah. He demands everyone in the clan to literally sing his praises and ‘share’ with him a hallowed out stones worth of dried shards of fruit, a rarity, and rarer still in the cold winter when SAN-tah demand his praise. If they don’t comply, they face his wrath! A starving young cave warrior named Bahr-NEE decides to impersonate his warlord, never guessing that he will come face to face with SAN-tah himself!
